The powerful local scene

Blood tests at finals

Tournament No comments »

Doping in football seams to be not really an issue like for example in cycling. Nevertheless UEFA has decided to intensify controls at UEFA EURO 2008. For the first time there will be urine as well as blood tests at finals.

UEFA president Platini has evinced doubts about the relevance of professional doping in football but anyhow UEFA has made the decision to carry out about 300 tests during EURO 2008.

In terms of fair play absolutely wise.
