Doping in football seams to be not really an issue like for example in cycling. Nevertheless UEFA has decided to intensify controls at UEFA EURO 2008. For the first time there will be urine as well as blood tests at finals.
UEFA president Platini has evinced doubts about the relevance of professional doping in football but anyhow UEFA has made the decision to carry out about 300 tests during EURO 2008.
In terms of fair play absolutely wise.
During UEFA EURO 2008 fans in Vienna may drink potable water for free. The Host City Vienna has planed to offer free drinking water in the city centre as a gesture of hospitality.
A good idea but the fans probably would prefer some other drinks for free…
